Movements - if not particular campaigns - are won by lots of people participating: the more diverse people involved, the more likely that a movement will succeed. An evidence base described in social change literatures up ports this
Campaigns can be won through clever strategic thinking.

- What might it look like today, in FNQ at this point.
- How to support a community organiser
- Moving in and out of the role
- Used a garden metaphor to explore and deepen your understanding of the movement ecosystem and Circles of Commitment and how people move into a set of campaigns, moving toward greater commitment
- How the digital world interfaces with relational face to face organising
- Pathways into and around and through the ‘Garden’
- Hearing and finding the voices of people wanting to participate
- Shepherding people around the garden [yes! there are sheep in the garden] to a deeper more active commitment
- Begun to talk about how building movements interact with grassroots electoral campaigns.
- Tweeted with a pack of FNQ twits
- Tweeting the workshop to the world just because we can
- Tweeting insights to each other
- Tweeted to @robjpyne
- Tweeted to other MPs, activists, academics and journos
- Discussed and applied basic concepts for Strategic Thinking for designing and winning campaigns
